Getting back into smoothie mode now that Summer is in full swing and wanted to share the latest combination I’ve been loving.
This smoothie has:
Berries - to satisfy sweet cravings
Coconut water - for hydration
Healthy fats - keeps the brain & joints lubed up
Fiber - for healthy digestion & helps keep you full
Bone Broth Vanilla Protein Powder - Keeps you satiated, healing for the gut, and helps with muscle recovery after a workout
Serves 1
What you'll need:
1/2 cup coconut water
1/4 avocado
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 tsp maqui powder (optional)
1 tbsp almond butter
1 scoop vanilla bone broth protein powder by Ancient Nutrition
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
5 ice cubes
Toppings: 1 tbsp SunButter, 1 raspberry
What to do:
Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender (Vitamix or Blentec) until smooth and creamy.
Transfer to a glass and top with Sun Butter and a raspberry
