Serves 1:
What you'll need:
1/2 avocado, frozen
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Silver Fern Brand)
1 cup plant milk of your choice. (I use unsweetened almond milk)
5-6 ice cubes
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp cacao nibs
Toppings: 1 tbsp almond butter, 1 tsp hemp seeds, 1 tsp cacao nibs
What to do:
In a high powered blender (like a Vitamix or Blendtec), process all your ingredients except the cacao nibs until you've reached a smooth and creamy consistency
Add in your cacao nibs and blend for 30 seconds. You want to break up the cacao nibs enough that they're small but not completely blended.
Transfer to a large glass and top with almond butter, hemp seeds and more cacao nibs.
Enjoy x
